I was noticing recently the Altiplano XL square version, seems to be 33 x 33 mm as far as it's dimensions are concerned. In today's terms, this size seems anything but 'XL', unless I'm missing something (which of course is entirely likely, just ask my wife!)
Also, does anyone own this watch and can attest to how it wears, and I'm also curious as to whether the handwound movement (I can't recall which movement it has) is round or shaped?
Thanks Purists!
Doug
I don't think there is a "Square XL Altiplano".......
The standard (mens') round Altiplano is 38mm diameter with 430P round movement.
The XL (mens') round Altiplano is 40 mm diameter with 838P round movement (subsidiary seconds display).
The Altiplano Double Jeu is 43 mm diameter with 838P and 830P (Hr Min only) double round movements.
The Square Altiplano (Hr Min only) is 33 x 33 mm with 430P round movement.
It could be "large" in comparison to the smaller Square Altiplano of 30 x 30 mm with 450P round movement (subsidiary seconds display).

Small Square Altiplano 30 x 30mm
The Protocole XXL is part of the Black Tie Collection and is 42 (h) x 46 (w) mm with 830P (Hr Min only) round movement.
