I wish I had learned to read music
The kids in my neighborhood learned how to ride a skateboard, or play baseball, or even golf. No one I knew was into music or taught to play piano. All I know is the hollow notes are held longer than the filled-in ones. :-(
But I have several good friends in the composing and music publishing business - can you imagine being a composer, or music proof-reader, or editor?
I have commissioned several compositions over the years.

I was very lucky
I had parents who were willing to pay for lessons and take me to them, and push me to keep going when things were tough. Still, it is never too late to start playing music.
