It took Hublot R&D department six months to structure the layers of materials which form the bi-material bezel and to obtain a regular incrustation of the metal in the carbon.

I feel compelled to review and explain what this interesting pattern on the bezel which I have never seen before, on this already wonderful Hublot Big Bang Unico Ferrari 45mm in Titanium case.
First of all, let's see the video Hublot made for this model:
What is this "material" on the bezel? This is yet another "fusion" from Hublot's R&D department. Magic Gold is the previous prominent one (although it is taking more time than expected until the production pace stabilizes), and this one is another challenge Hublot R&D team took.

To make it easier to understand (or as I understand it), metal (titanium or king gold) in the liquid state is cast into the space in the carbon and Hublot purposefully left the "flowing" pattern in the fused material. That is a very cool way of thinking fusion
As a result, they created the carbon bezel incrusted with titanium, which reinforces the high-tech spirit of the Big Bang Ferrari. Beauty and Innovation is the words they use.
The case features a special finish - micro blasted coating for extra hardness and a silky metallic effect appearance.
As with other Big Bang Ferrari, prancing horse at 9 o'clock.
Minute counter and date window at 3 o'clock.
You can see the column wheel.
Pruncing horse... (I wish they had made the room for the second hand dial, though...)
Love this "open dial" design....
And, as always, "one click" leather strap, sewn onto grey rubber, featuring the signature stitching on Ferrari's upholstery.

Titanium version is available as a 1000 pieces LE and King Gold version is available as a 500-piece LE (401.OJ.0123.VR).

This is such a hard watch to take good pictures of, but you have done an excellent job. I still think in real life it really looks amazing and catches the light at all different angles. For me it was one of the highlights of the 2015 releases and a great example of the art of fusion!

Great report Ken. As I posted before...
I wish it were offered on a Big Bang Unico watch and not a Ferrari version.
While I understand the ongoing collaboration between the 2 brands, I am also disappointed that so many great looking watches that tempt me have that damn yellow circle and prancing horse on the dial. Again, I understand it, but I have no interest in ever owning one of these pieces (maybe if it only said Ferrari on the caseback).
But, I do think this is one of the better Ferrari executions overall, and if I did ever get over my big hangup, this model would be of interest.
I also expect Hublot will use this bezel type again, so maybe I just need to wait to see it on a Big Bang Unico. Imagine, over a ceramic case with titanium numerals and hands. It would be striking.

Otsukaresama. I saw this one in Hublot boutique in Singapore. Case finishing is different, gorgeous. I ended buying...a Hublot cap instead! LOL
