CEW France: Beauty fo improve the patients' lives.
A nonprofit professional organization created in 1986, CEW (Cosmetic Executive Women) has now 450 members - women executives working in the beauty related industry. The mission of the 25 beauty centers established by CEW in the hospitals throughout France, from Paris to Montpellier, Grasse and Clermont-Ferrand, is to reconcile the patients to their own bodies; to provide a sweet and peaceful break when their body images deteriorate. CEW makes it possible to have beauty care and olfactory workshops for patients with oncological andgeriatrical problems or undergoing neurological rehabilitation. "No narcissism, but dignity" explains CEW chairman Francoise Montenay who carries on this mission with great energy and generosity: "we offer women and men (15%) the opportunity of experiencing a sensation of well-being in a different context".

Great offer by Hublot but not by Tajan!
Well I thought I would put in a bid for this watch as a present for a close friend who is obsessed with shoes and would love to own this! However I logged in and found out that Tajan (the ones who are celebrating their 10th anniversary with Stiletto) are charging a 23% buyers commission on the lots sold!
To me, this shows it is not really done for charity but as a money making auction for Tajan, they are marketing it to all benefit the charity and to celebrate their 10 year partnership, in fact it is to just get a very hefty commission. Shame on you Tajan, you should be giving the money to charity (23%!!!) as other auction houses do when they run something for charity.
Anyone wanting to bid beware of where you money is going.
