Hublot

I love the Hublot Rose Gold Big Bang but a Platinum one with ceramic bezel and gummy croc strap would be a stunner.

I had my eye on the Platinum Mat but I've owned the Tantalum Mat and it is not the most wearable watch in my opinion as it is a scratch magnet.

Any thoughts?

I think that would be a cool look... the minute repeater has a platinum case so I do not see a reason why this could not be done.... however could be serious $$$.

I thought the tantalum was meant to be super tough?

Yes tantalum is tough but the Mat finish scratches and the natural shiny Tantalum is exposed (not a look that I could deal with).

One only learns this from experience, hence why I love my BB Luna Rossa great watch that just does not wear.

Hi Rene,

Since they have their own facility, it must be easy to do that and it would be a cool looking watch.  But may require, as Andrew says, serious $$$$ and weight.  The weight balance may not be optimal for a Hublot...  But, then again, interesting experiment.  Hope your request be heard soon!

Yes, there is no problem to do it. We have already our Minute Repeater Tourbillon and the Minute Repeater Cathedrale Tourbillon Chronograph in Platinum
So no problem to do a Big Bang in Platinum
I only have the impression that it is not so much in demand. Mainly because of the price and the weight
Let's wait for Basel and we will see

A new Basel release?  I don't remember one of these before....

With the movement in carbon and the case in carbon as well. 100% in house both the case and the movement of course
It's for sure a world first as I don't know of any Minute Repeater Cathedrale Tourbillon Chronograph case in carbon and 50 meter water resistant¨

Wow... I am really looking forward to seeing that one at Basel and am curious on the ring as the case made of carbon... may have to make space in my watch box for it

Are we going to see a King Power repeater at some stage too for those of us who like the bigger watches...

Contrary to the Big Bang Minute Repeater Tourbillon, the Minute Repeater Cathedrale Tourbillon Chrono will be in a King Power Carbon case!

Maybe I jumped too quick to have the KP Carbon Carousel made with this on the horizon! :-(

Anyway, can't wait to see it at Basel and of course another first in technology for Hublot!
