.. Hello, everbody :
Some of you may have followed Baron's excellent post, and possibly
a bit my " City Strolling and 3 Choices" in 2 Parts..

So you have realized that there has been a decision process for me :
- My chips have fallen on to GMT- Master II 116710 , aka The Bruiser ( some call it Batman -?)

Initially the watch's arrival was scheduled for this week - but guess What ?
- On Friday already, one day later after my first seeing & touching the Demo, I got a nice call from my AD,
that due to a last - minute decline of another customer, I could have the new piece already
before the weekend. < br>
- Having said so, i visited the Store ( where- just 1 day before, I had tried and wrist- tested this
wanted specimen) and could receive my (first) GMT / black/blue !!

- Yipeee, what a nice surprise !!

Thus, I thought to share just some arriving shots, which of course will be redundant to some degree
to what I'd posted already, but maybe you like the somewhat better pics also a bit..

- Hence, may I humbly re- introduce to you my newest acquisition, the first in 2014 :
Hope you don't mind my urge , to again share this with you ( and in fact , very soon a friendly other
PuristP friend, will present his sample to you !! - Two within 1/2 a week, not bad, ehh ?)

As Baron (in extenso), and I from wrist- trying and decision making, already have covered and shown

- after a longer time, some good ol' KoC (lucky- go- happy) approach.

I cannot tell you how pleased I am that you have taken the plunge with this wonderful GMT. You do not need to apologise for showing us this watch, nor for detailing your deliberations. I think this type of thinking and examination is exactly what collectors enjoy reading. I certainly do! Fantastic news for you, and wear it in great health.

that confirmed my choice and had valuable info, to what I knew

Funny and coincidental, that we both had the Milgauss as our up-to-this date
modern Rolex, and that we both chose this very GMT / black-blue,


- So there was a common path of thinking, although we both started from
different angles, and we both took the plunge and decided for this one !

i am looking foward to readng your thoughts and further impressions
and am pretty sure, that this watch will surface here and there furtheron.

its been a long time since I bought a 'new, fresh out of the box Rolex' (or any new modern watch in fact), but all of these new batman GMT posts are starting to open my eyes!! I fear I might also crumble soon!!

.. That indeed it is a very nice edition, somewhat "under the Radar", but cool
Our kind mod has described that impression quite well in his Review:

- Also in my Assessment it is a fresh , new look and
Interpretation of one central model, the GMT;

Nicolas has given already his ( pretty obvious) decoding,
but it is interesting to note, the the black- black bezel
has the Code 116710 LN, so AT least the "L" could be something else (?)
, Could be that it's some sort of model identifier;
I would agree with BLue Noir , but am not sure what
the "R" Stands for ..

Anyway I tend to describe it by either her Nickname,

whether its Bruiser or Batman (?) and by the Ref 116710. Best for your week and
