What is the story behind the dial makers for Rolex: Singer, Beyeler, etc.? I tried to see if they're still around, but no luck. Who are the big dial manufacturers now?

Rolex has absorbed those companies and want it's own code. so you can find on the back of the dial:
1 - Stern
2 - Beyeler
3 - Singer
2 - Beyeler
3 - Singer
FYI Lemrich&Cie no longer exist.
