I came across a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Chronometer Tru-Beat Ref. 6556

Problem , that the second hand is sweeping and not jumping.

Question
Is it possible to find the parts and change the calibre back to jumping again?

I paid interest in this model ,but I didn't do my homework on it, for the moment...

Can you post pics of the movement? It may be of some help for our Experts to give you an answer.

Movement to work without the tru beat mechanism but I suspect a watch maker will know more

The parts are unobtainable.

Last "kit" for a smooth to beat reversal was like 2-3.000 dollars and it was 10 years ago.
