I want a strap for the summer in nylon , but in the web i have seen 18mm , 20mm , and even 22mm , so i do not know if the thick ones fit on my vintage and if they would look nice? Help Guys!!!

Assuming you go for a PROPER NATO spec and not the, IMHO, awful cheap and chubby looking Zulu type that makes everything look like a $5 replica or Animal watch, try and get something that will coordinate with the red/blue. AND my preference would be to order the so-called RAF Pattern variant, or if unavailabubble, simply cut and heat seal (easy peasy) the extra and IMHO POINTLESS extra strapping on the NATO - and have the avantage of losing the extra s/s loops.

...though I prefer that 'RAF' design  I have had use for the stupid extra strap. On my Enicar Sherpa, the watch tends to slide off the strap (due to the relationship between the bars and the caseback) only to be saved by the keeper strap. On all my other watches....the keeper gets cut off.

I also 1/2 agree on the Zulus.

Generally ugly; though some less than others, and stupidly bulky (can't wear one when using a keyboard), but a good one  is a godsend when trying to strap a watch/timer/gauge over your wetsuit with cold, clumsy fingers. The NATO/G1) is just too fiddly.

safe way to wear your watch and very comfortable in summer weather. Purchase a couple of them in different colors, plenty of them around...
