Rolex

I would sincerely appreciate any feedback from Milgauss owners. Do you still look down at your wrist with pleasure after owning it for a while? Do you find it comfortable on the wrist? Reliable? I actually like the version with the plain black dial and am considering it very seriously as my first Rolex. Years ago I told myself that I would never buy a Rolex, probably because it is the only kind of watch I have ever seen my father wear... perhaps some sort of silly rebellion Anyway, I fear I will soon eat my words. lol

Nice to see a Rebel, here, but I fear you will prove your conformism on this matter.

The Milgauss is a classic, my friend.

I own mine since June, I believe, and I'm very happy with.

I can also hear Bob Marley song ..." Revolution Song " or something like that...

In this case, and personnaly, I prefer the Green Crystal, because of its fun and madness.

The 1st Rolex Watch designed by an inspired Jamaican.

But the " normal " version is very appealing, too, and maybe easier to wear?

While I prefer the clean black dial, the Jamaican dial will make me think of warmer weather through this cold Canadian winter! I will let you know what I decide

I have the green crystal l v version and I like it the most, because it is both rare and unique which you do not usually have with rolex models in general, but the standard models with the larger case also is very classy and is really versatile, sporty and discreet enough to be worn with a suit.

my 2 cents

I have had my white face Milgauss since early this summer and am still really enjoying it!

In Rolex I also have a 20+ year old S&G Datejust (white face with black Roman numerals and now on a black croc strap), a vintage 18K President and a SS Daytona (white face). I used to wear the Daytona the most, but something about the look, feel and "difference" of the Milgauss has made it my "go to" casual/business casual watch. I like the fact that occationally I still get asked "Is that really a Rolex?". I do still miss my Expolerer II tho....

Qorry, I missed you post, and I loved what I read, because I use to defend these poor White Dialed Rolexes which don't receive the consideration they deserve, as this Milgauss White or the Explo II White.

A Milguass is a Milgauss, as it was the case with the Vintage 1019, they existed in black or white dial, and they were and still are very appealing with both of these dials.

a classic Rolex sports model, yet a little out of the main stream
