congrats I got the SD43 back when they came out 2017... AD still had SD4K in case.... looked really really boring by comparison

My AD heavily discounted the last SD 4000 to make room for the new incoming SD 43 in the display case!

Next mission, to go backwards and get prior references too!
Stepping back to the 5 digits is still reasonable, going beyond that it’s pretty expensive quickly though.
The SD was my first “real” watch. I still have it, it was and is bulletproof. The big attraction to me was the lack of the cyclops although like you I did subsequently come around to the cyclops (on the Subs in my case).
Enjoy this new monster.
