Getting another BP perpetual.. the lake tahoe or maybe the mojave.. I had the Rodeo for a bit but ended up trading out of it - I was always on the fence if it was too big for me..folks in person said it was fine but I think the issue I also had was the boutique never had the right size strap for me so I had this XS strap that was not very comfy.. thoughts? Old pics of my old Rodeo. 

yeah it's odd because in photos it almost looks like lugs shoot past my wrist but I assure you they don't... mirror or from other's view it fits fine.. but when I look down on it it looks a bit like a dinner plate.. the chrono 41's - yes yes there 41.9mm haha fit perfectly in photos and top down but then in person they seem too small. I'm also worried if I buy another one and it not being black it will look even bigger. Maybe I need to go find one.

And, as years went by, I have started to feel that anything bigger than 44 is too big. Most watches I bought in the last 24 months have been 39-41 and I have been very happy with those. I don't remember the last time I wore my BP.

I wear 38-39mm all the time. But I also have some biggies… Here’s another photo. The problem is when I got it my wrist was 7.25” too but I lost. A lot of weight. The ceramic ones don’t weigh a lot and I love that it’s a perpetual. So cool… I know trends have changed but I always like big watches as I wear a garmin most days for training - triathlete…

But it’s not my or others opinions that matter, buy and wear what you like! Just curious; If you ended up getting out of it last time because you thought it was on the large size - What’s different this time?

I got out of it because I thought it was too big... I ended up getting a mojave 41.. love it. wish there was a 41/42 BP QP

Yeah.. I liked it a lot but my probably with IWC's black ceramic is it shows so many scratches.. no it's not the ceramic scratching it's other stuff depositing on the case and it looks a bit bit.. yes an eraser removes them and I shouldn't really care but for some reason bothered me a lot so I went mojave 41.. waiting for a lake tahoe 41 chrono. That will be the best. Not sure why it's taking Chris so long to do it.

I miss it a lot but it was/is a hockey puck. Oh the dilemma.

I would say that it actually should look like a saucer on the wrist when you look down.  That’s all to say, on your wrist it looks OK to me.

I get smaller watches are in vogue.. I’ve got a handful of very small pieces. Including many CPCP cartiers but as mentioned I will always like big watches too. I’ll likely grab the Mojave QP as they’re not very affordable and if it’s too big won’t lose much if anything.

Looks too big on your wrist. I have a 7” flat.

Are all the ceramics 46 or 47? I know the original BPP black was 48, but I thought the new ones are 46mm.

I guess the smallest “looking one” would be the 46mm BPP black. Vs 46mm in other colors.

lol I’m going to avoid getting another one.. for now… I’ll just buy all 3 41 colors they make.. Mojave, blue and black 😂 and hope they do a white 41 Lake Tahoe… cough cough Chris do it already lol. I did dump the rodeo because I kept saying I love looking at it but not on my wrist 😂 same reason I’ve got ride of my Lange 1 timezone, dato up/down and zeitwerk date…. Tho I think that pink gold black dial zeitwerk may have my name on it this summer…

What you think is too big or just right for your wrist. You had some serious machinery you tried “to make work.”

My calibration is probably still “off” even though I don’t wear 47mm Panerai anymore 😂

The problem is I’ve yoyo’d in weight and wrist size so much since 2020… like 40lbs swings haha right now it looks fine. It’s funny because on this forum I see folks post themselves wearing Portuguesiers, pilot’s chrono’s etc that look YUGEEE on them but I’m sure they don’t feel that way. In these photos the watch does look like a hockey puck but in person it’s not that way. I think the fact the normal strap is far from being too long also helps me know it fits and the lugs don’t sit anywhere near past my wrist. Like today I measured my wrist and it’s just below 18.5cm lol

I got to try this on recently. Way too big for my 6.75" wrist, but absolutely beautiful. I'm hopeful something similar will become available in the BP43 one day using the smaller PC calibre they have in the 42mm Portugieser.

I am going to get another one haha these photos are from 2022 and tried on my old piece and the others and my wrist is a bit bigger 7.15”-7.25” now depending on swelling and fits well. Will probably get a rodeo back and the Lake Tahoe. Why not. Haha.

I think it's beautiful, statement piece.
My concern with the Lake Tahoe is how that white strap will age, the case will always stay brilliant white but I wonder if the strap will continue to match over a prolonged period of time.

but I plan on rocking the oreo look with black straps a lot like a I do on my RM055

I love that the crown and deployant are the same color. Issue I have is the white year wheel… wish it was green arghh
