PANERAI PAM090 Power reserve
Iam thinking of getting a basic Panerai and this one just appeals to me the most. What are your views? in terms of value of money, collectibility aspect and overall asthetics?

If the PAM90 appeals to you the most, then you should get it
In terms of aesthetics, I really haven't been a fan of these off centered power reserve indicators. To me, the dial looks lobsided. Everyone has different tastes so it's always best to buy what you like since you're the one who's going to wear the watch.
In terms of collectibility, the PAM90 isn't one of the "hot" watches, so don't expect much appreciation in value over time, if at any.

I agree with Anthony....
the words "iconic" Panerai, do not come to mind when thinking about the 90. Having said that, if that's the piece you like, buy it and enjoy it, right?

Good news....
that's the way to go, congratulations and enjoy the 90 for all it's worth. I have the lefty's version (PAM 123) in my destros collection and it has grown on me...little by little...
