My first Panerai. Link to pics added.
Hello all,
It took a lot of soul searching to get to this point but alas I am immensely satisfied with the end result. I picked this up at the end of April but never got around to sharing until now.
The criteria that dictated my decision making were the following: I knew I wanted a Radiomir, I wanted an interesting/versatile function, a relatively unique movement, and something that didn't look too ostentatious on my wrist. Naturally this lead me to the 184. It took a little while to track one down in like new condition including all the box and papers and cards and most importantly the right price point. All my stars finally aligned back in April and I haven't looked back since. Since then I also added an ABP burgundy croc strap in to the mix. Enjoy the pics!

Your 42mm Panerai PAM184 looks great on your wrist. Lovely pictures too.

42mm seemed like the perfect size as I'm partial to the understated aesthetic but once the Panerai bug bites, one is powerless to it's effects.
Now I've been flirting with the idea of a 44 mm 1950 Luminor; in a perfect world the 270; but reality has me looking at the 320. In either case, it'll be some time before any triggers are pulled. I'm glad you enjoyed the pics!
Is there a picture size limit when uploading images from a mac? I suppose my files are a little large (>5mb) complicating the process.

The 184......
is the first PAM I bought, a few years ago. Matter of fact, I wasn't into Panerai at all, when I bought it, but into a utilitaristic watch that didn't look big enough to be...pregnant... I did enjoy it quite a bit until I litterally ran into the 249 that, well and truly, turned my watch universe upside down.... Enjoy it and welcome to Panerai.
