Then by all means yes, it is worth buying.
All of us here have different appreciation for different models, and as such you will get a wide array of responses to your query, none which will tackle the value subject, as since we all percieve value differently, and that is why it is not openly discussed about.
If you liked the look, like the convenience of an automatic and have use for the date function, that is the watch for you. Otherwise, if it is the look you are after, why not consider a 183 or a 268 that has a date window and even power reserve indicator?

a an automatic Black Seal with the date. That would be considered, by many in this forum (and every Panerai forum, I think) one of the most Anti-Panerai watches ever concocted IMO. Anti-Panerai in its essence, to be sure....
Having said that, you like it, you can afford it, your decision, right?

is manual, has no date and the simplest dial. 232 comes to mind. The golden hands make it handome (still in its simplicity) 190...etc etc
