Dear fellow Purists : I am very pleased to share with you pictures of my PAM 249 and 232. I acquired the 249 in January 2008. Surprisingly, the 232 has proven to be elusive. After a hunt for nearly 2 years, I am now a proud owner of these 2 "Grail" watch ( by my standard). I spent much effort in selecting the strap : A light colour one to contrast with the black dial of the Cali. A dark brown strap to match the brown dial of the 232.

Based on the picture, and a la " Mr BluNotte", can you guys guess what my Ultimate Grail is?

1st of all, congrats on your 2 very beautiful radiomirs!

They are always so sexy, so historically correct, plus the 249 naturally fits your screen name here very well!

"A la me"? Let me see, the magazine photo is that of an angelus movement, and with your 2 radiomirs, are you saying that your ultimate grail would be a dead-stock movement (NOS, or some other great movement other than ETA based) in a radiomir case? But i still don't get it , how would that be in my style?

Dear BluNotte : I was referring to your riddle on PAM 349 you posted a couple of weeks back and try to have some fun here !! Unlike yours which has many twists and set us guessing in all directions, mine is very simple; dont think beyond the picture. Mr Anthony Tsai, whom I have corresponded, has one and I am dying to have one . LOL.

Just joined the PAM party with the 312 and now I am eyeing a Rad...like the 232...love the 249...and 292 maybe more accessible

The 203 will be a major hurdle and may prove elusive. Why not settle for a Fiddy like I did.

and these were what I could reasonable get hold of at the time.Nothing to touch what YOU have in your Pam collection! The pre Vs ,pre As etc. etc., the true Pam collectors' pieces. Have you given up on Panerai BTW?

I had 10 Pre Vs, and some early Vendome, too.

Now, I still have 4 Panerais.

2 Pre V, 2 Vendome.

I think I will add 2 more Panerais, and Basta.

A 47 mm ala 127 or a " Base " version if Panerai decides to realease it with a domed sapphire.

And a Sub ala Bomba or 24 A, B or C, with the smooth bezel.

I may also consider the Egiziano if they release it in 47 mm, or a re edition of the Small Egiziano ala 6154.

As you see, I'm keeping an eye on it...

you are still The MAN when it comes to Pams(also vintage divers,JLC and many others). I share your enthusiasm

with the plain dial 127 and the 24 with smooth(shiny) bezel.You already have some amazing pieces!
