Can you tell me something about this watch? Is it a sandwich dial piece?

Is it a good watch to have?

The PAM237 is the same thing as the PAM88 GMT but has a black seconds subdial at 9'oclock instead of a silver one.  It is nicknamed a "Ghost" because I think this model doesn't appear in the Panerai catalogs.  If I remember correctly, 400 or so pieces were made so it is one of the more rare Panerai's, but that doesn't mean it's more "collectible".

So to answer your question of "Is it a good watch to have?", I would say if you like the all black looking dial on the Panerai GMT, then you should get it.  Otherwise, I wouldn't purchase it solely on investment purposes cause I doubt it will ever be a "hot" Panerai model.  Otherwise, get the PAM88 GMT instead if you want to save a couple bucks.
