Need/Want to Buy, PAM111 or PAM104?

104 and 88?
No way, the 111 is the one ot get as a first Panerai, and even better, the 112...I don't like the date on the 104.It brakes the purity of the dial.
Manual wind is also better than automatic, as more stuck to History...Panerai, in the 30's or 40,s never made automatic movements...
So I'd say 111 or 112...

Between this two, I'll pick the 111...
Manual winding movement gives you such a great feeling. You and your watch will say 'Hi' to each other everyday or once in every two days 
.
By the way, I don't even love the date....only if my Panerai is Submersible.

But as I always say, the simpler, the nicer...
The 112, without small seconds, is a pure, strong, and charismatic beauty...
If you hesitate, try them both, but believe me, the Base is powerful!

the 111 for me...
Both are great watches so I wouldn't say 111 is better than the 104
but in terms of popularity, one could easily say the 111 is more popular than the 104 because the 111 is manual wind and doesn't have the reverse "wart" below the crystal over the date. Much cleaner look without the date and reverse "wart" IMO.

base is simplicity and trusted me..............the more you look Panerai watch then you will think of less hand.
