Well I'll take a stab at it. Whats the chances of a "2533" 47mm Radiomir with a display caseback

and a vintage rolex movement being offered and introduced at this years show?????

Slim to none? OR 50/50 LOL!!

I'm with you on this one...And on any Historical reedition like a Luminor Base in 47mm which respects the 6152 look or with the crownguard  6152/1...Or a re edition of the small Egyptiano, or a re edition of a Mare like the proto of year 1943, or a bit smaller Egyptiano...

Yes, I'd lke to see that...

Tourbi, Minute repeaters or PC in a Lumi case...Not for me!

The Ref 6152 is without crownguard.
The Ref 6152 / 1 is WITH the crownguard...And the correct position is like the one you showed in your lasr post,
Yes, Edouard..I'd be very happy with one of those 2...Not necessary a MM.

This is a very limited model with limited publicity BUT with Panerai - never give up hope....Remember some 5-6 years ago we were dying for a 47mm steel rad.....

I'd be surprised if Panerai debuts another 47mm Rad special edition cause they already put out the PAM232 and PAM249 last year, so another 47mm Rad this year will be overkill IMO.

If anything, maybe a 47mm Luminor base, Egyptian, or Mare Nostrum special edition this year.  Another possiblity a Ceramic Luminor?  And I wouldn't be surprised to see the Tourbillon housed in a Radiomir case as well.

And what I'm hoping is to see a new Panerai case

With anything new there are always variables......one way or another.

Market forces, competition, consumer demand, plus having the edge and inovation to have something new yet have the item retain some of its historical roots.
That is what Officine Panerai is up against. Also they are up against a very unfavorable export market to the USA because of the Dollar/Euro exchange rates.

Demand says several different styles of Panerai watches are in favor with collectors for 2008. (The USA financial economy might say something else!)

From what I can gather the base dial 1950 with a brown or grey dial and a 8 day movement somehow located on the back(to keep the dial uncluttered) is being sought after.
Another one might be the 52mm mare that Mr. Bonati was wearing at one of the previous shows. Also there has been batted around the idea of a black ceramic 47mm 1950.??

IMHO Panerai often thinks outside of the box when they introduce new product lines or new styles taken from older ideas.
Case in point. They just might instead of introducing a 47mm base 1950..........go with introducing a base 1950 with a brown dial in a 44mm case!!!!!! Don't know for sure but stranger things have happened before when it comes to new model introductions.

The idea of another 47mm rad, does not sound plausible mostly because of what you already mentioned. Because of the 3 previously introduced ones.
The only reason I thought they would go with the "2533", is that it is one of the very few historical rocks they have not already turned over. The 60mm Egyptian, and the Mare being the only others that might come to mind.

That being said.......I can't wait till the show!!!! And all of the goodies in store for everyone.
It will be fun!! Please keep us posted.
