I'd been looking for another sport watch and settled on the PAM 104, after failing to find a 164 with Arabic numerals. I couldn't be happier. It's big, blocky but sexy, case wears beautifully. It's already become my everyday watch.
A quick plug for XXXXX. XXXX, the owner, not only runs a fine shop with a nice selection of brands - FP Journe, Jaeger LeCoultre, BRM, RIchard Mille, Panerai, Zenith, Vacheron, Manometro, and others, but he's a horologist by training and quite knowledge about the technical aspects of the watches he sells. No hard sale, just a relaxed atmosphere to browse if you're not into anything more expensive.
Nice to be a member of this new forum. A shout out to my friend, Dominic, another Panerai owner from the San Francisco Bay Area.

Dealer name edited out in. Please note that all PuristSPro.com discussion forums are non-commercial in nature. We encourage and request that you discuss specific dealers and discounts by private email.
Once you get used to wearing a 44mm Luminor, it's difficult to go back and wear a 38mm or 40mm IMO. Sometimes I have the urge to wear a small watch; and when I do, it sure feels weird strapping on a 38mm watch.

is to avoid the problem of when we do get a trashing of a specific dealer or specifc dealer's product. When someone posts here publically denouncing ABC dealer is a liar and a crook, it just puts us in an awkward position so it's best to avoid this in the first place by prohibiting the mentioning of any dealer's name.
Further, in the past, people have shilled for the dealers (whether directly or indirectly) to get favors in return (ie: a free strap, discount on a purchase). And I do not want this forum to spread rampant with shills, whether unintentional, indirect, or direct.
Hope this answers your question!

that's great. suddenly more of people like pam104 . it become hot and hot
enjoy yourself
Hi there,
See that you got a PAM104 for yourself, everyone here has been bitten by the BUGs,just a matter of serious or not.
This BUGs...why are they spreading so fiecefully?Nobody has the answer.so say because they are case within a case(a round case within a rectangular case) therefore the designer thinks its unique, for those marketing guys would definately predict its due to the timing the trend of large watch hitting coincidently.
But anyway, those around here's advice are the best,ie.what Anthony mentioned once you are on a 44mm is difficult for you to go back 38/37mm anymore.
And from my experince, once you put it on for few days you are on the "spell",you will definately look for few more pieces regardless whether you are in a consious or unconsious state. This is what we call.....BUGs.
lastly, wellcome abroad and enjoy this unique time instrument!
Warm greetings,
