For your consideration is BNIB Girard Perregaux Rallye MONTE-CARLO 1970 Historique Flyback Chronograph watch (ref. 49580-11-611-BA6A) created as a tribute to the Porshe 911 S , and its success on the race track in 1970. This phenomenal model has been manufactured as a Limited Edition of only 250 pieces Worldwide, and in time, it will potentially become a collectible and sought-after series watch. This timepiece features mechanical chronograph movement with automatic winding, Girard Perregaux's own caliber GP337A, fine-tuned and decorated by hand, 62 jewels, power reserve is approximately 48 hours.
The round-shaped case is crafted in high polished stainless steel with brushed case sides, case diameter is 40 mm (excluding crown, pushers and lugs), height is 12 mm. Black-colored vibrant dial with applied white luminous Arabic numerals, printed minute track and tachymetric scale on the outer part of the dial, slightly recessed sub-dials with white outlines (small seconds counter at 3:00 o'clock, 30-minute indicator at 9:00 o'clock, and 12-hour indicator at 6:00 o'clock positions), Date window between at 4 and 5 o'clock position. Polished steel Sword-shaped hands with luminous insets, red sweeping chronograph seconds hand. Slightly domed scratch-proof sapphire crystal, water resistant up to 30 m / 3 atm. Solid case back is secured with seven small screws, Monte Carlo Rally logo in relief on the case back. Black matte genuine alligator leather strap with high polished stainless steel Girard Perregaux deployant clasp buckle.
