FS: Girard Perregaux 30 Anni in Fiat
This watch was offered as a gift to Fiat employees who had been with the company for 30 years. It was originally gifted in 2011. This watch was never sold retail and only purchased on the secondary market. The watch I have was purchased from a dealer who bought the watch from a Fiat employee. It was sold to me as new and comes with box and papers, the original strap, and a black reptile strap I purchased for the watch. The watch has an ETA movement and DD chronograph module. It has a solid case back and sapphire crystal front. The watch is 39mm without the crown, wears well and is beautiful in person. This watch is in excellent condition and has rarely been worn and all functions work as expected. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for looking.
I've long admired this chronograph. Odd that GP came up with just the right combination of elements and just the right proportions
for a piece that wasn't destined for the market! And yours would seem THE example to pounce on had I the ready cash. This post, though, may just inspire me to finally put up for sale a number of pieces that should have gone long ago.
One question, though, as I forget exactly which ETA movement resides within. Does the chrono-minute hand move continuously, or does it snap to the next minute after the chrono-seconds hand passes 12 o'clock, as is the case with Omega's cal. 1863 in my Speedmaster?

GP 30 Anni in Fiat
The movement is an ETA 2892 + a DD chrono module. I do not recall the movement of the minute hand on the chrono feature as the watch is with my son at the moment.
