The platinum version had an elaborately stamped/guillochéd dial treatment, but that looked over-the-top busy to me. There's enough going on on the dial already, and I think the plain gray better suits the watch's sort of "steampunk" styling.
Fantastic watch… thinking about the chronograph seconds hand running counterclockwise while the running seconds hand runs clockwise is simply incredible!
