March Madness is finally here (NCAA basketball)!!! Since we had a great intro post about ourselves not that long ago, I'd like fellow Purists to shout out for their school alumni and school mascot:

I'm a University of Arizona Wildcat Alumni and here is our mascot Wilbur the Wildcat with his wife Wilma! Go Wildcats!!!!

So guys and gals, please tell us about your school and mascot!

You know it's a bad basketball year when I can't even post a picture of the Stanford Tree (daughter)...

However, this is my favorite mascot of all of the family schools - my son played and coached ultimate frisbee for...

 

For those of you not from the West Coast of the US, the mascot of this educational institution founded at the height of the 60s counter culture is a Banana Slug.

One of my cousins is in his first year at UCI and another one graduated a few years ago from there.  Great school!
