Feathers and Sharp Needles
We walked on the Cactus hillside this morning. (I reported on a visit here 18 months ago) We were amazed! Hummingbirds everywhere! We may have seen 100 or more. So I had a theme for the morning - Cactus Needles and Hummingbird Needles.
Here's a diversion - something soft and fluffy.
Back to the needles.
A gray-haired old geezer like me was enjoying the view and the morning warmth of the sun.
He was unafraid.
Of course, he didn't have to worry as I couldn't have gotten to him without wings.
When my shutter finger cramped up, we left all the prickly stuff behind and headed for home.

Yes - thank you. Very nice summer weather here. Warm, but not the extremes we see in other parts of Europe.
