Best Thomas

The blue dial looks great, with the contrasting white accents and red second hand.
I recently saw a mens stainless steel dynamic from early 70's at a local watch service centre, which also has some lovely pre owned watches. It has a black dial, no date, and a red second hand. Manual wind and very good working order as well.
Thanks for the photos of the change from the strap to steel bracelet. Nice job on the change. Very interesting to see how the bracelet integrates with the case. They did the same at the shop on the Dynamic I saw. They found a NOS bracelet and replaced the old black strap, which was also in good condition. It gives the watch a totally different look.
I may go back to the shop this week and see if they still have the watch. Your thread has really been an ispiration to me.
Cheers,
Carl
Your thread really inspired me. I must admit, that until recently I never paid a lot of attention to these Dynamic models. Although I always liked the shape, I was not keen on many of the dials. I prefer something simpler. I also wanted something with a manual wind movement if possible.
Well, the story will continue when I make my new thread. I got back to the shop today, and when I saw the Dynamic in the display case, I knew that I had to get it.
Thanks,
Carl

when I picked my Dynamic up yesterday at the shop, the watchmaker showed me the special tool used to remove the case from the strap, so to speak. Interesting how there is a kind of lip at the edge of the crystal, and I guess the tool fits in there. Apparently, somewhere on the bracelet or the ring is a number which shows the tool to be used?
Cheers,
Carl
