For true WIS, the watch lacks a great movement. Many see the liquid metal seamaster as a missed opportunity because it doesn't house the great cal 8500 in house movement. To this extent, the watch is somewhat diminished. Go for the AT 8500, or better still, the Hour Vision. If you're prepared to spend this much sheckles, you may as well get a great movement. I also think a ceramic bezel Rolex is a far better alternative as well.
Putting aside the issue of the movement, the watch looks undoubtedly beautiful. You get all the classic hallmarks of Omega design qualities dressed in liquid metal. I suppose that counts for something. The liquid metal and ceramic combination is IMPECCABLY finished. In a moment of weakness, I might be prepared to concede that it looks better than the cal 8500 AT or some ceramic Rolex (but it'll never touch an Hour Vision) and that's where its main advantage is. On the other hand, please consider the movement before anything else because that's really where the magic all starts. It's also what gives substance to a watch. Consider this blackened balance wheel and Si 14 spring which for WIS has more beauty than liquid metal.
