Omega

I am posting since 1 month on the Rolex category since Dr.Strong is the moderator and he asked me to come by so i found this Omega category....

These 2 Omega's are off course interesting by reference, nice watches with a lot of history. The Speedy 105.002 has been delivered in '63 and now has a nice warm Tropical dial [ one of my addictions ; - ) ] and the Seamaster has a Military engravement on the back of the case. The certificate stating it was delivered to the Bristish Army in 1970. I was told that sometimes at the end of the serie it was alsodelivered with 'Civil' dials - without T.

Anyway, i am very pleased and thought you would like to see them too.

Wow, Philips, unebelievable collection you have there!!!
This SM 300 is very interesting for me, as I already own the Polaris, and a Vintage FF No Rad...
Just one thing..Is the Dial Relumed?

Dial and hands of the SM300 are most probably relumed with tritium...

Thanks for the informations, I'm hunting badly this SM 300, but I have to admit that this is a watch I don't know very well, so I have to ask around me
quite a lot of things to go further in my modest knowledge...

there are a squillion incorrect ones out there, but i'm sure you know that.

i was lucky enough to have a correct and authenticated military issue item which i treasured for a long time, but as you know, the Freak spoke to me(shouted in reality) so a lot of treasured pieces went to new homes. it was a lovely watch to wear, but due to its age, not something i worn very often. too much history to risk damage.

the prices seem to be sky rocketing at the moment so lets hope they settle down soon.

i have a early Speedy with a tropical dial this is a CK 2915-2...




i had this watch for a long time....
