Looks great Raymond and I like this panda version as well...

Had a chance to see the white/silver dial last week but was not convinced as I did not have much time to spend with it. I still would have preferred if Omega put this dial and movement in a Deville reference as I believe it would have boosted the Deville line and also not to cannibalize the Speedmaster range.
Guess I will need to spend a but more time with the 3 dial configurations to see if I see this one being added to my Speedy collection.
One thing I can say is the fact that I really like the manual winding version of the caliber 9xxx as it is slimmer and most likely more robust without the winding rotor. The winding sensation is not bad either but not as smooth as the 321 caliber 😉
The white/silver dial with blue prints will be very similar to your Snoopy 3.

I think Omega knows the DeVille didn’t do well and as with the Museum collection for the chronoscope dial so they made this choice. True about the winding, because they are no sound or click feedback like a manual which I prefer, not sure why this movement works like that.
True about the Snoopy 3. Maybe since this was an automatic movement with the rotor removed, it might not have the same click spring mechanism as a standard manual wind movement 🤔 🤷♂️

As for not having success with the Deville, Museum, or other line...well how can Omegs change that around?
They have to either make a choice of taking risks with this piece in the Deville line to boost attention or DROP the Deville and other lines which do not sell as well.
I had a LONG discussion with many collectors and even with Omega about this and each time is it frustrating. They do not act like a company trying to maximize profits nor one that satisfies it's collector base. It seems they are stuck in the middle of these 2 objectives and hence, they lose a bit on both fronts.
I know that might be confusing but I can assure you it makes more sense if I had more time to discuss the subject further.
Trying to summarize this topic in a single message is impossible 😕 🤷♂️🤦♂️
No matter what any brands do, there will always be controversy, Justin…

Tell me any watch or thing that will make everyone happy, it is non existent nowadays. People just like to complain and have opinions and that is perfectly ok with me. I take the other sides reviews and opinions to help me make a decision but ultimately it’s my decision.
Agreed on that. We each make our own decisions based on our outlook of a watch, the brand, etc...In the end, it comes down to personal preference and our choices 👍
