Living in London
I regularly window shop in and around Bond/New Bond St., although an obvious starting point there is better value to be had when leaving the country, via Heathrow T5 that is. There is also Somlo in at the end of Burlington Arcade if he decides on a vintage alternative.
Heathrow shop is worth checking
As the UK VAT is so high and can be claimed back when leaving the EU - this could be a good option.
