the GP7000 line came to life in 1987, the ref. 7030 chronographs with tri-compax dial layout in 2000.
Hence it´s a bit older and may benefit from full service, which of course depends on what needs to be done.
That´s the downside, because it needs to see a given piece and at least partially disassemble the watch to seriously estimate what´s necessary to do. As a chronograph is a bit more complicated, it´s certainly more than a "simple" watch.
In any way, best to do is to get in touch with a GP AD or regional service center.
