rare GP Tank Cambree ???
Gentlemens,
Found some rare GP, and planning to buy for my collection... The watch is "Cambre" ref.2532 in yellow gold. 40x25mm tank... Never seen this watch, cant find nothing over the internet...

It´s an early 1990´s model

the ref. 2532 was part of the "Vintage" series in early to mid 1990´s; it´s one of several watches with more historic case shapes and dial layouts, of which the "Vintage45" is the one that became most successfull subsequently.
But there have been some few others, such as the ref. 2550 "Vintage94" which debuted in 1994.
Most of these bear an ETA-based manual wind movement, going back to the Peseux 7001 then. This allowed for thin profiles and shaped case designs, which make all these pieces so much "retro-style".
Personally i do like these (and particularly the Vintage45 line), as it´s a nice nod to GP´s long history and manual wind movements go well with a more "historic" approach. On the other hand, aside the Vintage45 not all models always did have the finesse GP´s current portfolio brings, so one might argue they are horologically not that outstanding and a bit on the small side for current fashion trends.

i´m not sure about the production total for ref. 2532, but tend to recall there are a few hundred pieces made.
At least that´s the rough figure for most other models in this line, of which between 200 and 500 units came to life then.
It was not a limited edition, though.
"OG" would be "or gris" or "white gold", but i think it says "OJ" and such means "or jaune" or "yellow gold"!
