As a reformed JLC collector I see a lot of common points between the two brands, not only in this watch...!

Appears to be of a very classical size, too. Proper dress watch (maybe not black tie but still)

I never really conssidered it a dress watch. With the black dial and the arabic lume numbers, it is more of a classic sports watch in my view.

In the sense of much sportier designs having become accepted as watches one wears with a suit; compared to many of those, your GP is much more classical

I'm not a big fan of very smart suits combined with a Casio Sports watch, but whatever, as anyone pleases.

Meant more your typical Submariner or Planet Ocean paired with a suit - something relatively common these days. Compared to that your GP is much dressier

But works perfectly to a pair of jeans as well!

.. almost a GADA- DNA ( Go anywhere, Do anything !), well not a real tool watch,
but pretty versatile, I suppose.
