A few photos of my LUC Sport...
I finally got around to taking some pictures of a recent arrival, the Chopard LUC Sport. This model has been around for a while, but I still appreciate the unique and distinct style of this watch. At first it is legible and clean, but up close the dial is interesting and ornate. I previously had the silver dial version and loved it, but all of my other watches had light dials. I sold that one and was able to find the black dial at a Chopard AD, new old stock, and Chopard was kind enough to give it a full service for no charge. It has become my favorite sports watch, with a rubber strap and excellent SS bracelet. Here are a few pictures...

Chopard LUC Sport is like James Dean

The LUC Sport is like all great icons with short lives but long reputation.
James Dean appeared in a handful of movies during a short life but his icon status only came after death.
Now that production has stopped, the LUC Sport is being recognised for its attributes. Imagine a haute horlogerie finished, sporty watch with a micro rotor automatic movement. But wait.....no need to imagine....its the LUC Sport!

A real classic...
why this model was ever discontinued is a real headscratcher. An elegant 'sports' watch with a microrotor...just incredible! Take care of that beauty.
