Chopard

A few ideas for Ladies and also Gentlemen ( for the coming holidays).  

The 2010 Chopard Imperiale line consists of two sizes, 36mm and 40mm diameter.  Available in steel, rose or white gold, both have variations adorned with diamonds. 
For the time-only model, 36mm versions contain the quartz movement while the 40mm versions are with automatic mechanical movement.

For the chronograph versions, they are only in 40mm stainless steel,  pink or white gold case with automatic mechanical movement. To have a glimpse of the Chronograph models, please click here for the press release.
Just received information, the chronograph movement is the robust FPiguet 1185!

Below are a few quick shots of the prototypes time-only while awaiting for the actual chronograph models.



Steel version. Inner dial is engraved mother-of-pearl.
Above piece is with leather strap.


In metal bracelet ...


Hour markers and tapered dagger-hands are coated with SuperLuminova.


Bezel set with diamonds ...


Water-resistant to 50 metres.



The rose gold version.  The lugs which resembled the antique columns are set with briolette-cut cabochons. 

Depending on the metal type, different gemstones are used.

Rose-gold and steel case are paired with amethyst while white-gold is with sapphires.


The crown is also adorned with a gemstone too.


A rose gold version with bezel and lug-joints set with diamonds.

Thanks for the pix. Love the steel version with strap or bracelet, but that Rose gold!? Magnificent! Love that RG.
