I received my Pro One orange a couple of days ago. So far so good. It is unlike any other watch I own and I am enjoying it.
I expect that I am one of the few, if not the only, female who ows this model but if there are any others of you on this forum I am interested to hear your comments.

Please do share some pictures when you have the chance. Thanks!

purchase. I saw it on a Saturday at a local AD, thought about it over the weekend, several days later I had a telephone conversation with a member of the sales staff at Chopard in Manhattan where I made the purchase...... and the rest is history. I guess I was in the mood for something "sporty" and this piece really appealed to me. I don't have anything like it....my other watches are poles apart.....Jaquet Droz, Roger Dubuis, Panerai, JLC, etc. etc. This is my first Chopard....it might not be the last.
As for photos, I explained my limitations in this area in my reply to Anthony and I don't think I have words adequate to explain how bad I am. I'll leave the photography to others.

I just shoot and post on ThePuristS photo forum ( www.network54.com
) and ask for critiques on how to improve and get inspiration form others. It's fun and easy to do so go ahead and shoot some pics and join in on the fun!this piece. Thank you for your words of encouragement.
Carol
Your new Chopard is a very nice watch. I don't own one, but have handled it, and certainly thought it was a fine piece. I'm happy to see another Lady Purist who isn't afraid to wear a 42mm sports watch. I personally love dive watches, and I like to see a confident, self-assured woman wearing one.
Enjoy your watch, and please do think about posting pictures at some point down the road. I was afraid to post pictures to the site for a long time because I'm not a good photographer at all, but even I manage to post a photo or two now and then. Everyone on the forum has been very kind and supportive of my meager efforts, so I encourage you to enter the arena as well! Audentes fortuna iuvat!

purchase is the end result. Although I live in New England, only minutes from the ocean, I will never use the watch for this purpose because I don't spend anytime on or in the water. For me, watches are more about form than function. I am not too interested in what's under the hood. I tend to focus on design elements, finishing, etc.
I have wanted to up-grade my camera and my photography skills for a while now. I just haven't found the time for it... perhaps in the near future.
Carol
ordered one with white stitching. The strap that came on the watch is of excellent quality and it has a sharkskin lining which is quite nice. I am a fan of fine leather goods. I didn't go for the metal bracelet due to sizing considerations.
Thanks for the information you provided to assist in my decison-making.
Carol

have it let me know and we can plan to get together.

The Pro One orange is one of the nicest diver watches on the market.
It has the "bit special" that distinguishes it from other watches, still being very
versatile and wearable.
Best regards,
Gerard
Do you own a Chopard or a diving watch? If so, which one(s)?
Carol
Yes, I own the Chopard Luc Twist in white gold. As for diver watches, I have the Ulysse Nardin Blue Surf,Sinn U1 SDR and Omega SMP.

Gerard
