Chopard

the brand and this particular model.  I have never owned a Chopard, but have some familiarity with it from all too many watch buying excursions for Jaquet Droz and various other brands.

Are you referring to the one with GMT? 

I've placed some previous posts of the L.U.C Pro One seris for your reference.

It is a nice sporty piece and the largest diameter of all the L.U.C at diameter 42 mm.

And what's cool about this watch is the orange on the bezel even glow in the dark!

Finely finished in-house movement, not commonplace like a Panerai Luminor or Rolex Submariner, great for diving, and on top of that u get the added GMT function.  If you can wear a J*D Grande Seconde, the Pro One GMT size will be fine.

I intend to purchase a new watch; however, I have seen some old ads for pre-owned pieces at relatively low prices (less than half MSRP) and wonder if either of you (or anyone else) has an opinion regarding what (if anything) the relatively low prices in the pre-owned market says about these pieces with respect to quality, reliability, etc?

The fact that you can purchase a LUC watch, or any Chopard,  at what is perceived to be an excellent price says nothing about their quality, durability, desirability, reliability. etc. If you like the watch you should purchase it new or pre-owned as you will end up being very happy! Mark

on your Pro One?   In the photo they appear to be off-white.  Do my eyes deceive me?

FYI - Chopard also made a Pro One (non GMT) with orange lume as well!

Do the pieces have all the valid papers?
