Hmmm loooking at the picture again, I think I got confused! Im not sure if the yellow glows or the white...haha! Like I said I never wore it. I'll check tonight when I get back home and let you know.
I think Im going to sell this one though, I want to get the Speed Black Limited Edition of 1,000 pcs. They quoted me U$ 7,200! Do you think its a good price?
It does not surprise me at all that this LE was sold out fast.
Question: Is Thai King a Chopard fan as well?
Regards
Ling
Im not sure, but what I heard was eaither #1 or #9 was donated to the King.
The colors of this limited edition goes very well IMO, and the yellow and white contrast is tastefully done.
If you do ever wear your new Chopard, please do post a wrist shot of this piece. Thanks!
Cheers,
Anthony
Hi Malucci,
Just curious why you would not wear this very cool piece. I must have a different belief when it comes to watches, special edition, limited edition, normal production, I am going to wear them and to me enjoy them. My two Chopard watches are definitely less than pristine, but I love that they are worn and enjoyed. For me most of what I have will be given to my son some day and investment value is a moot point, wearing them with a fair amount of care is just more important to me.
Just my own opinion and thoughts, but I would love to hear you response. Do you mainly just collect watches and save them as new?
Regards,
Mark V
Hey Malucchi,
Good to hear you have a nice Chopard daily wearer, but what about this one is a pity? Not wearing it? Show off with it you deserve it and only fellow WIS followers will really know its rarity....ha ha. I know 80 pieces is really low, but you are a lucky one to own this piece and if you keep it should get some wrist time with it. My only Limited Edition watch is a Pam Rad GMT #210/1000 pieces that I wear the heck out of, but it is not quite as rare as your # xx/80 pieces. Again this is just me thinking out loud.
Good luck whatever you decide and take care,
Mark V
Kong...the only thing that glows are the white not yellow.

I still have the yellow t-shirt that I wore on Mondays when I was vacationing in Thailand=)
Congrats!
