A quick picture of a nice Vintage Fifty Fathoms Lip Blancpain 3/ 6 / 9 / 12.
There are still a few Vintage FFs I am hunting, maybe 3 or 4, and a 3 / 6 / 9 / 12 dial is clearly on the top of my wish list.
I am Lucky to have several Milspecs,and one early Fifty Fathoms, but this dial configuration is highly appealing. Clean, neat, powerful.
Here is one nice specimen:
Lip Blancpain, in this case, but a no Lip Blancpain could work very well, too.

Why do you think the dial was changed?
I do not know anything about the provenience of this watch. It was bought private . No collectors item.

The second watch from xx-ff is very similar to mine- except the triangel on the bakelite...
Maybe only the bakelite wss exchanged???
