Not really, setting is in standard 12 h, using the subdial at 3. And to differentiate, setting via the lower crown.

By the color of it, you seem to have the SS version? My titanium version was ringing louder. A titanium case does the best job at it. However, I agree with you about JLC. My Navy Seal Alarm all titanium was the loudest of all :)

It's been a reliable companion for some 15 years; the design is rather specific but not boring even today.
As it was mentioned, it is a pity that Blancpain discontinued this line which was very universal, good match both with shorts and formal attire. Air Command with its 42,5 mm (or 36,5 mm) is imho lacking this universality.
