I tired it on, to my surprise it is not that heavy considering it is a big 44 mm watch... It is not heavier than my rolex daydate2 (pt).. I was there to buy (singapore) but didn't close the deal because i personally like the blue, I find it too glossy for my taste.. I have just booked a Pt Royal Oak Offshore. I have not tried it in flesh but had owned a rose gold rubbler clad edition of the same. Just wanted to check any owners on the forum who can give feed back on this piece as a daily wearer and does any one has any clue to how many they produce in a year

If so.... yes I own it.
It is my daily wearer and it is awesome.
It is a very tough watch and it is very stealthy.
Platinum case is great because if you bang it you do not lose any metal, unlike steel or gold.
Bezel is very tough.
I love the watch in every way the only thing that I wished that AP offered with the watch is a rubber strap or platinum bracelet as the croc strap is not very resilient to the elements otherwise it is perfect. In fact I do not understand why this watch is not more popular!
In regard to how many AP makes per annum AP do not release production numbers.

I tried on a Platinum Schumi a few weeks ago, it has a blue rubber strap which would go great with your new watch, check it out.

I have the blue Schumi strap but in my opinion it doesn't work.
The blue face and the blue strap do not match and I do not like the look of it.
The 26401 is such an awesome watch (my grail) that it deserves a blue rubber strap that matches the dial IMHO.

Didn't realise the different shade of blue as only had the Schumi in stock not the 44mm plat piece.
Not sure if it is possible to get a custom blue rubber strap ?
I handled the 26401 at SIHH and loved it.
I do think it is a real sleeper model - a platinum cased 44mm Royal Oak Offshore. It stands to reason it is produced in limited quantities.
