as I am not into chronographs. Nice design on the dial, and a useful complication. I have heard that some people are a little put off by the platinum bezel against the titanium case and bracelet as the top heavy bezel causes the watch to rotate on the wrist. However, as I wear the watch tight on the wrist, this is not a problem.
Hope this helps

It is indeed the most important as it will maybe land on your wrist!
I had its little sister, the RO Alinghi chrono from the same year, and I got a bit tired of it.
So, I sold it to go on the RO jumbo, the Vintage.
I don't regret my choice, as I prefer the original design and size, more balanced, to me.
But, noce again, this is YOUR choice! Best, Nicolas
I think that its a loveley watch, but its all about how you feel about it. I must say, of all the Alinghi Offshores my favourite is the carbon.
I too am about to purchase my first offshore and am having some trouble deciding. Given that i have been wearing my current watch for 16 years i expect this one to last as well.
Can i ask which of the materials handle wear and tear the best. Platinum, Titanium, RGold, Carbon, Steel or PVD? I tend to treat my watch pretty rough just because i like to forget i am wearing it.
P.S. Alinghi RO above is stunning.
