Okay I have not posted on PuristSPro for a while, but I figured it was time to do so as I finally had something wothwhile to share.

It was recently my birthday and I decided it was time to offer to myself something I had stashed away some time ago.

Yes I had acquired a few years back one the 65 limited edition tibute to the 1965 Polaris's in stainless steel.

It was safely put away in storage waiting for the perfect time to come out and my 50th birthday sounded like the right time (It don't feel fifty though).

I am really, really happy I waited and am really enjoying this splendid watch. It is quite diferent from my 68.

How could you have waited so long?  When I got mine, I had it on the wrist in the first 15 seconds!

Dear Joe,

It definitly takes a lot of pateience, but it was well worth the wait.  I think the year I purchased it I has already taken real good care of myself.

Anyways it is a dream to wear.

I admire your discipline for having stashed away your ´65 for several years, but I can imagine it feeling super special now that you are getting the chance to enjoy it.
