I also noticed that, on some of my manual winding watches. When you move the Watch, even if totally empty, there is a small quantity of energy which makes your Watch ticking again. It won't last a lot... 10, 15, 20 minutes, and it will definitely stop.
It may happen.
That happens, sometimes, when I want to take pictures of manual winding watches, and that pull the crown to set the traditional 10 past 10 time, for the pictures. The Watch starts again, even when I didn't Wind it.
Best,
Nicolas
However, I'm getting old I'm afraid.....
maybe it's best to wear the Watches without any movement.....? so that we can't get old?? Know of Any JLC or other Watches that make time go " backward"? Sigh........
)have a stop-function when the torque gets to a certain low-point (like the old Futurematics), that kicks the movement back in to motion when there is some movement. It's not unusual.
