Thanks for reminding me about this one! I'm off to the safe to retrieve and wear it for a while. I must report that this is one of my favorite watches of all time. Just enough size and heft to "be there" but not overblown like so many these days. The alarm is like birds singing. I like the solid case back with gold medallion better than today's standard-issue sapphire backs.
At first look, it can be mistaken for today's Memovox. But upon closer inspection, it is it's own design. One may say that today's case is more refined...it's true. But there's a clumsy elegance (how's that for a contradiction!) about this early model. It has nothing to apologize for in my book. If I could find one in rose gold, I'd buy that one, too! Heartily recommended for the JLC devotee who wants one modest piece that represents the best of the brand. Ken
1990s Memovox

I am interested in the 1990s / early 2000s Memovox and Reveil models. Can any owners post some pictures and comments...? There does not seem to be much information on these.

The one with the Cal 914 is superb.
Even more with its gorgeous black dial.
A diameter of 36 mm reserves it to Connoisseursn though, as a lot feel it is a bit to small. ME NOT!
If you're patient, I will post in September something about this one.

It may be the only Memovox I own - but ican't think how I'd improve on it.
I can heartily recommend this - the smaller Memovox.

I prefer the Master Black Memovox on the black strap, but the one pictured above is definitely THE one I'd get.
