I wonder why JLC chose to restrict this model to a certain region, and why they picked the US. Does anyone know?
The reason for a US version of the Deep Sea was clear, but in the case of the Reverso I don't see a particular reason...

By the way, I am not quite sure which one I prefer. Being somewhat closer to the original is quite an advantage of the US version, but judging just from looks, I like the regular version better.
Fortunately there are other JLCs higher on my wish list right now, so I don't have to decide.

My guess is that it was made to put the light on the BH Boutique, but also to " make a gift " to the US Market.

The good thing with this offer is that now, you have the choice between 2 appealing versions.

Sometimes, more is better than less.

May we  know what are these JLC which are on your wish list?

thanks for sharing your view on my question.
So far, my JLCs are more on the dressy side, I have a Reverso Duoface, a Master Ultra Thin and a Master Geographic (the old 38mm version, with black dial).
But I like a lot of models from different lines.
Among the older models, my favorites are the Master Hometime (with the asymmetric dial) and the Compressor Chronograph (version 1).
From last years models, the Master Chronograph and the Master Memovox, and from this year the Deep Sea (Euro version).
Since the newer ones will be around for a while, the Hometime will most likely be my next JLC.

I really like JLCs black dials. The Master Chronograph with black dial is stunning (I don't mind the date, but would have preferred white font on black background for the black dial),  and a regular Master Memovox with black dial would be great, too (the dial of the International is a bit overloaded in my opinion).

it can be had at the BHB as well as at the most important U.S. JLC ADs.

I just can't make up my mind. Hopefully I will be able to see the US edition in person soon. I already have seen the regular version and love it.

You really can't go wrong.

Time will tell you, I think, which one to prefer.

BUT I definitely want the strap of the US version!
