On the occasion of presenting AMVOX the JLC boutique in Geneva, I was fortunate to be given to photos of the Extreme ab2 titanium version, still a prototype:



On the wrist is still present, and the weight difference is not obvious, finally, between the ceramic bezel, movement, dual sapphire, there's so much more room for on the case material...



I love the builds of this watch is truly original, and above all they are well sweeten the XXLsize of 47mm.



The movement is a killer, resolutely modern, cutting bridges in the background is perfect ultra-modern, cyberpunkising watch.



Apart from aesthetic considerations, the whole point of this show lies in the range of complication away, the minute totalizer digital to 12, the radial power reserve between 9 and 3, the position of crown declutching (indicated at 3h) via the center button This last, which is similar to the complication of Renaud & Papi on RM, the time zone 24 hours, construction magnetically for this titanium version, stop the second at 9, etc. ...

In fact, it has been compared, rightly watches Richard Miles, and the comparison is entirely appropriate, the inspiration is obvious, until function switch came directly from the world of MR, but eventually the case of the EL2 seems more balanced than the cases of RM, finishes also seem higher than some RM, but also in all fairness, it is priced € 40 000 for the titanium version, against € 200,000 for a similar level of complication in RM.



In the end, my gene of Pimp help, I am partial to the Pink Gold version, though less technical, as the absence of titanium alloy (titanium-vanadium), and by the fact that the version Now is not Amagnetic, not counting the 10,000 € more. This argues for the Gold version of the aesthetic is the gold inserts in the face, happier in my tastes than the red inserts the titanium version.

I have two small regrets about this show, I would have liked a dial with a real focus to put her eye, the condition is a little cluttered, especially with the high frequency 36000a / h was hardliner, while the balance 28800a / h board is a little too classic ...

Notwithstanding these two small flaws, It's for me the SIHH watch, the kind of piece that is really hard to forger, as the playful side (Think of the minute counter jump, it is not far a Zeitwerk), that the technical side and the side sports are strong and mature on this watch.

I agree with you that this watch reverberates a very strong and sporty look, and IMO it screams uniqueness and complete badassness. It looks like a machine...so cool!

I wonder what changes, if any, will accompany the production watches later in the year.  One change I'm hoping for is a different strap.  The thickly padded leather strap looks somehow out-of-character with such a modern timepiece.  Just my $.02, I suppose. 

Although I find the E. LAB2 amazing, I keep going back and forth on how I feel about this watch.  Your last photo with the AMVOX II I think crystallizes the issue -- after looking at the E. LAB 2 it is refreshing to look upon the simpler dial of the A2.  But I need to see the LAB in person.  Lucky you to have had that chance already!

I thinks that this prototype will travel around the world.
I think that you can ask to your nearest JlC shop or AD when they will receving the EL2...

I wasn't a fan when looking at the first press files photos, I now appreciate it a lot.

JLC released, this year, watches which make you think...That's great, IMO.

As I often said it, the watch in real is much more appealing than in pictures.

Even the size ( 46, 3 mm ) doesn't correspond to the feeling once on the wrist.

A very dangerous watch, well, only for the wallet, because if we speak about pleasure...
