I have seen both ref. 192T470 (catalogue and JLC website) and 192.T.25 (photos).  Are both correct and exactly where does the ref. appear on the back of the watch case? Photos would be appreciated.

...I had a while ago considered this watch, then dismissed it, but am now back on it.  I thought I was done with the AMVOX2. 

But undecided as of now...we'll see.  I will keep you posted in any case.  JLC makes my life difficult too often.  LOL.

How are you finding it to have both the original AMVOX2 and the special Paris Racing model?

As you know, I'm a big Amvox II Fan...

To me, it is one of the best JLC sporty watch.

Do I live well with 2  Amvox IIs?

Well, this was not evident, as I don't really like to get 2 of the same watches.

BUT, the original A II an,d the A II RPBE are really, deeply different watches, with their own character.

Will I live all my life with 2 Amvoxes II?

For the moment, I'd say YES.

The Black Amxox II is a very tempting watch, combinating strenght and originality.

If I didn't go on the R PBE, no doubt that I would have ended with this one, too.

Today, this type black coat is very common, but will be very hard for restauration in the future.

That is indeed something to think about and something I have been considering.  I know JLC can restore it now and probably for quite some time in the future, but what about 20 years from now?

....in the machine-tool industry, or some revolution in materials technology, TiN coatings will always be there...Just expect JLC to hard an arm and a leg for it, just like the aftermarket coatings guys do.

BDLJ to the rescue.  Ok, well, that takes care of that excuse not to get the watch.  I am not sure if I should thank you  or not, BDLJ.  LOL.
