as Nicolas mentionned, you have really 2 watches in one: one side very clean purely ART DECO and the other one with fine engravings and skeleton ART NOUVEAU. It is pretty unique. You just have to choose according to your feelings and wishes.
I think the reserve de marche is "nearly " the same, but without specific hand.

As you asked some days before, I checked with JLC the ref number of the Platinum Reverso RDM:
270 64 40...
I'm still waiting to get the ref of the platinum Sun Moon...
As for your initial question, I'd say that the Art Deco is more laborated than the RDM, and that you can play with the 2 wonderful faces of the Art deco, which is not possible with the RDM, as the Verso is a solid case back...
But the RDM ruthenium dial is a pure beauty...
At the end, I'd say ..Art Deco...
As for keeping their value in time, I'd say that the most important for a watch is to keep its time in time..LOL
