After much deliberation and cajoling of my better half, I have just ordered my new watch, which is a Reverso Squadra Hometime - stainless steel/white dial/leather strap. I am so excited I can't tell you! It is my first brand new JLC, my only previous JLC being a 1977 Memovox. When I receive the watch I will post some pictures.

Thanks to all purists who have taken the time to post messages & pictures of the Squadra and other JLC watches which helped me make my decision.

The Squadra is something new, which requires time, I think, to get its beauty and its interest.

Having settled on a Reverso, I was torn between the Reverso Grand Date and the Squadra HT. I tried them both on in Cellini on a recent trip to NYC and I preferred the fit and size of the Squadra. The trouble is, I love the majority of watches from JLC and find it really difficult to decide what to go for. I would love them to re-produce a Master Control Memovox (don't know why that one was discontinued) or a Squadra Memovox - maybe sometime in the future.

That said, I am more than happy with my choice. The Squadra hasn't "grown" on me, I have liked it since it was introduced.
